Base Camp is the part of the Ascent program that kicks off each semester. Base Camp meets every day at the beginning of each semester in order to help students realign to the realities of academic learning. As we know, learning happens all the time, but there are certain skills and expectations that are essential to success in a more formal setting like a school. Ascent always meets only on Fridays during the E 7 time, however at the beginning of each semester, Base Camp meets every day for an intensive, and supportive transition.
